Overview
An active project extending Crito Smart PMS with physical IoT device control. The goal is straightforward: rooms should be at a comfortable temperature when a guest arrives and should not waste energy while empty.
When a guest checks in, the system signals the room's heating device to activate. When they check out, it shuts off automatically — no staff action required. The integration listens to check-in and check-out events directly from Smart PMS and dispatches commands to IoT devices in real time over MQTT.
For properties with high room turnover, this is projected to save thousands of euros annually in energy costs. Currently in active development and testing for properties in Germany.
