IoT Integration for Smart PMS

The IoT layer for Crito Smart PMS is work Imam Faheem delivered at Skyware IT Solutions. Room heating turns on at check-in and off at checkout, driven by PMS events over MQTT. It is in progress for properties in Germany.

When a guest checks in, the system signals the room's heating device to activate. When they check out, it shuts off automatically — no staff action required. The integration listens to check-in and check-out events directly from Smart PMS and dispatches commands to IoT devices in real time over MQTT.

For properties with high room turnover, this is projected to save thousands of euros annually in energy costs. Currently in active development and testing for properties in Germany.
