Overview
Crito iKiosk is a self-service check-in and check-out terminal for hotels, running as a desktop application on dedicated kiosk hardware. It removes front desk staff from routine arrivals and departures entirely. Guests walk up, verify their identity, complete the check-in, and collect a printed and encoded room key.
Built in Electron.js to run natively on the kiosk device, it connects directly to Crito Smart PMS for live reservation data and room availability. The app handles the full guest flow — identity confirmation, payment, room assignment, key encoding, and receipt printing — in a single uninterrupted session.
Hardware integrations cover payment terminals, card dispensers, card encoders, and receipt printers. The app includes an offline fallback mode so guest flows are not blocked during brief connectivity interruptions.
